Launched Our Clean & Green Home@Ang Mo Kio GRC-Sengkang West SMC this morning. Planted a cempaka tree together with my grassroots leaders, an annual ritual in Singapore since 1971, when Dr Goh Keng Swee did the first Tree Planting Day at Mt Faber.
We are creating a City in a Garden, with the Active Beautiful and Clean waters programme, more green spaces and the Gardens by the Bay. Let us all do our part to make this vision a reality. Please don’t litter, please care for the environment and remember to keep our surroundings clean and green. - LHL
